New musical phenomenon, Frank Ocean, released the video for his debut single, Novacane, of his mixtape/ studio album Nostalgia, Ultra. Mr. Ocean, born Christopher Breaux, released his EP in February 2011 after Def Jam Records but it on the back burner. The EP ultimately garnered a lot of attention for the singer/ songwriter. Def Jam Records will be re-releasing the album on July 26th, 2011. Frank Ocean is apart of the alternative hip hop group, Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA). The video for "Novacane" was directed by Nabil and is uniquely creative in its own right.
