There are 33 million people living with AIDS in the world. 70% of those infected by AIDS live in Africa. Today we celebrate the lives, struggles and hopes of people affected and/ or infected by the AIDS epidemic.AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) is an incurable virus that attacks the bodies immune system. Every year 2 million die from AIDS- related illnesses.
The fashion industry has been instrumental in the support of HIV/ AIDS awareness and support. Companies like Designers Against AIDS and Join(RED) have came up with creative and charitable ways to help support the cause.
